Sri Lanka have decided to stick with the same combination, retaining their eleven from the first T20I.
At the toss, Harmanpreet Kaur said the surface looked good and added that bowling first would allow India to assess conditions early. “We want to stick to our plans and give everyone a chance,” she said while confirming Deepti’s absence due to illness.
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu said her side was backing the same group and focusing on execution. “We want to play positive cricket and be smarter in key phases,” she noted.
