The buildup to the massive India tour of Australia keeps getting more and more interesting day by day. Recently, Australian captain Pat Cummins featured in a segment with Star Sports where he was asked to pick his ultimate all-time India Vs Australia ODI XI ahead of India's tour of Australia. And while the team that he built was extremely daunting, many people disagreed with it and made their feelings known.

Out of the 11 players that he picked, only 3 were Indians, while 8 were from Australia, and the list was surely going to be a bit unbalanced due to Pat Cummins being Australian. But many felt that certain Indian legends were wronged. Pat Cummins had already specified that the list would only include players who have already retired; otherwise, it might have included some legends like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah who are still playing.

Only 3 Indian players picked—where did the rest go? GG and Yuvraj Singh don’t seem like the best options either 🤔?? pic.twitter.com/CHAbJOHKMq

As this list circulated across social media, fans had a lot to say. One user replied, "Only 3 Indian players picked—where did the rest go? GG and Yuvraj Singh don’t seem like the best options either ??". Another fan reasoned that Yuvraj Singh is a much straightforward pick ahead of someone like Watson, "Yuvaraj in place of Shane Watson it should be. Yuvaraj scored heavily and scored at critical moments, also he is more than a handy spinner as I don’t see any spin option apart from Warne in the XI."

Another user wrote, "Kapil Dev in place of Bevan> WC winning Captain all-rounder, plus more bowling options", very rightly calling out the omission of Kapil Dev. While another user made his thoughts clear on some names that should be ahead of some others, "Hayden record is greater than warner ..Gilchrist has more run but poor avg and more matches so hayden is clear ahead vs India So hayden sachin opens ponting is best Laxman played less odi but stats and avg are great Zaheer has poor record kapil dev wins among retired"
