New Zealand vs Pakistan and India to face England in the semis of T20 World Cup

The ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia has come towards the business end of its conclusion as the super 12 stages finished on Sunday. The Netherlands' victory over South Africa has revived the almost knocked out Pakistan to become the 4th semi-finalist of the tournament whereas India topped the group with 8 points.

New Zealand and England have entered as the two semifinalists from Group 1 with the two Asian powerhouses India and Pakistan featuring the final four list from Group 2.

The 1st semifinal of the T20 World Cup will be played on November 9 (Wednesday) between last year's runner-up New Zealand and 2009 World T20 Champion Pakistan at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The Blackcaps won three and lost two whereas one match was washed out in the rain out of five matches they played in the Super 12 stage. Pakistan on the other hand won three and lost two out of their five matches.

Eventhough Babar Azam's men managed to qualify with their fortunate luck but they cannot be taken lightly when it comes to the knockouts.

The 2nd semifinal will be played between Rohit Sharma-led India and England. The men in blue won four and lost one out of five matches in the Super 12 stage whereas England won three and lost one with a match getting washed out in the five matches of the super 12 stage.

India have already defeated Bangladesh by 5 runs at Adelaide and they've been looking promising throughout the tournament. Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav are the two consistent performers for the team with bowlers have been improving in every match.

England, on the other hand, had mixed performances in the Super 12 stage however Alex Hales at the top of the order looks in sublime touch with skipper Jos Buttler getting runs as well.
