After losing the ODI series against Bangladesh by 3-0, West Indies is ready to face India in a 3-match ODI series. West Indies have recalled their senior all-rounder Jason Holder who has been rested from the recently concluded Bangladesh ODI series.

Bowling all-rounder Romario Shepherd and fast bowler Anderson Phillip have been left out of the squad after their poor performance in the Bangladesh ODI series. Left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie has retained his spot in the team after his remarkable performances in the Bangladesh series.
West Indies has been in poor form this year, winning just four matches out of 15 they have played. They won three matches against the Netherlands and one against Ireland.

On the other side, India is coming off a successful white ball tour against England. They have won the T20I and ODI series both by 2-1. India has rested their few big players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya will not play the ODI series which will start on 22 July at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad.
