REPORTS : Ravindra Jadeja likely to miss Bangladesh tour due to injury, Suryakumar may get maiden test call

India will be touring Bangladesh next month. Both teams will face off in a 3-match ODI and 3-match test series. 1st ODI match of the series will be played on December 4 in Dhaka with the last test match to be played between December 22 to 26 in Dhaka.

A piece of bad news seems to be on the card for team India as Ravindra Jadeja is likely to miss Bangladesh tour due to injury. Suryakumar Yadav could get the opportunity to replace him in the squad.

According to the reports, the all-rounder has visited NCA several times for rehabilitation and checkups but may not get fit for the Bangladesh tour.

Reports also suggest that Suryakumar Yadav will be the most likely replacement if Jadeja misses out. If everything goes Suryakumar's way, he may get a chance to make his test debut.

It will be a dream come true for the star batter who recently confessed his wish of being a part of the test side. However, no official statement has been made public till now.

India's middle-order backbone Suryakumar Yadav is in sublime touch. He has been playing extraordinary innings one after the other in T2OIs for the men in blue.

SKY's bat sprinkled runs throughout the T2O World Cup 2022 campaign followed by a magnificent century against New Zealand. Suryakumar scored 15 runs against Pakistan in T20 WC followed by an unbeaten 51-run inning against the Netherlands.

He then scored 68 runs, 30, and 61 runs against South Africa, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe respectively. He only managed to score 14 runs in the semi-final against England which India lost by 10 wickets. He smashed 111 runs in just 51 balls in the 2nd T2OI against New Zealand.
