IPL has witnessed the participation of many great all-rounders of world cricket who have proven their worth over the years. All-rounders like Jacques Kallis, Ben Stokes, Shane Watson and Shakib Al Hasan have already been a part of this popular T20 league.
However, only four all-rounders have produced the magical performances of scoring a half-century and taking 4 wickets in the same match.

Here are the four cricketers to have done the exceptional :

YUVRAJ SINGH

India's Yuvraj Singh is the only player to have clinched this stat twice in his IPL career. He scored a brilliant half-century and also took 4 wickets for Pune Warriors on 12 April 2011 in a match against Delhi Daredevils. He played a 66-run knock in 32 balls and gave away just 29 runs to pick 4 wickets in his 4 Overs. However, he didn't get any support from teammates which resulted in a 3-wicket loss for his team. 
The veteran again achieved this feat on 11 May 2014 while playing for RCB in a match against Rajasthan Royals when he smashed 83 runs in 38 balls and continued his brilliance with the ball also. Yuvi gave away 35 runs in his quota of 4 Overs and took 4 wickets still end up on the losing side as Rajasthan secured a 5-wicket victory. 

 

PAUL VALTHATY

Paul Valthaty is substantially known amongst the fans for his remarkable century against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2011 season. Even though, he put up an all-around show on 16 April 2011 for Kings XI Punjab against Deccan Chargers when he scored a half-century and sparkled his magic with the ball also. While batting first, Deccan Chargers were restricted at 165/8 in their 20 Overs.

Valthaty was the hero with the ball for Punjab as he gave away just 29 runs in his quota of 4 Overs and picked 4 wickets. Chasing the target, the KXIP batter looked in a full flow and played an effective inning of 75 runs in 47 balls to take his team home in 17.4 Overs with 8 wickets in hand. He was adjudged as the Player of the match for his performance. 

 

KIERON POLLARD

Kieron Pollard is regarded as one of the great all-rounders the game has ever witnessed. He has only played for Mumbai Indians all his IPL career and has won many games for his team. In a match that was played on 11 April 2012, MI posted a huge total of 197 for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 Overs against Rajasthan Royals. Pollard played a blistering knock of 64 runs in 33 balls.

Chasing this target, Rajasthan fell short of 27 runs and were all-out for 170 runs in 19.4 Overs. Pollard also contributed with the ball in hand and took 4 wickets in his 4 Overs. He was adjudged as player of the match for his match-winning performance.

 

JP DUMINY

South Africa's JP Duminy is the fourth player to feature in the list of scoring a half-century and taking 4 wickets in the same  IPL match. He achieved this record on 18 April 2015 while playing for Delhi Daredevils against Sunrisers Hyderabad. 
Duminy first took 41 balls to contribute 57 runs to his team's total of 167 in their 20 Overs and then stepped up with the ball in hand. He picked up 4 wickets and gave away just 17 runs in his 4 Overs. Duminy's double masterclass took DD to a 4-run victory as they restricted SRH for 163/8 in their 20.
