IPL is such a T20 league that displays top-level fielding alongside both batting and bowling. Fielders put up their full effort to save as many runs as they can and even are seen taking unbelievable catches on the field. Sometimes a day can turn out to be a one to remember for fielders when they get few catches and run-out chances to contribute for their team. 

Here are the players who took 4 or more than 4 catches in an IPL game :

MOHAMMAD NABI

Mohammad Nabi holds the record of taking the most catches in an IPL match. Mumbai Indians faced Sunrisers Hyderabad in a fixture on 8 October 2021 where MI put up a mammoth total of 235/9 in their 20 Overs. However, the ball was seen following Nabi in the field whenever MI batsmen were hitting it in the air.

He took 5 catches in a total of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, James Neesham, Krunal Pandya, and Nathan Coulter-Nile. Chasing the target, SRH only managed to score 193/8 in their 20 overs and lost the match by 42 runs.

SACHIN TENDULKAR

Sachin Tendulkar took 4 catches in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 16 May 2008 and became the first-ever to take 4 catches in an IPL game. Kolkata Knight Riders were all-out for just 67 runs in their 15.2 Overs in this match. Sachin took catches of Salman Butt, Wriddhiman Saha, Ajit Agarkar, and Shoaib Akhtar.

MI chased the target of 68 in just 5.3 overs at the loss of 2 wickets. Even after getting dismissed for 0, Sachin made this match one to remember for him after taking 4 catches on the field.

DAVID WARNER

David Warner has achieved the feat of taking 4 catches in an IPL game. Delhi Daredevils faced Rajasthan Royals in a fixture on 31 March 2010  where DD posted a total of 188/6 in their 20 Overs while batting first. Chasing the target, Rajasthan were all-out for just 121 runs in their 17.4 overs and lost the match by 67 runs.

Warner took catches of Michael Lumb, Adam Voges, Yusuf Pathan, and Sumit Narwal. The left-handed opener however couldn't manage to do much with the bat and was dismissed for just 4 runs. 

JACQUES KALLIS

Kolkata Knight Riders faced Deccan Chargers in a fixture on 11 April 2011. KKR while batting first posted a total of 163/4 in their 20 Overs. Chasing the target, Deccan Chargers managed to score 154/8 in their 20 overs and lost the match by a short margin of just 9 runs. 

Jacques Kallis scored 53 runs in 45 balls with the bat and also took 4 amazing catches on the field. He took the catches of Bharat Chipli, Kumar Sangakkara, JP Duminy, and Ravi Teja. 

RAHUL TEWATIA

Mumbai Indians faced Delhi Capitals in an IPL fixture on 24 March 2019. Rahul Tewatia was playing for the Capitals and took 4 catches while fielding. He grabbed the catches of dangerous players like Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, and Krunal Pandya on the field. 

Delhi Capitals posted a huge total of 213/6 in their 20 Overs. Chasing the target, MI were all-out got 176 runs in their 19.2 Overs, and lost the match by 37 runs. 

DAVID MILLER

South Africa's David Miller also features the record list of taking 4 catches in an IPL game. Kings XI Punjab faced Mumbai Indians in a fixture on 10 April 2019. Punjab posted a total of 197/4 in their 20 Overs while batting first. Mumbai chased this huge target on the last ball of the match with won the match by 3 wickets. 

Miller displayed his brilliance in the field and took catches of De Kock, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, and Krunal Pandya. Despite of his catching show on the field, he couldn't save his team from defeat. 

FAF DU PLESSIS

Faf Du Plessis is considered as one of the most brilliant fielders in IPL history. He has taken some amazing catches in this popular T20 league over the years. Faf took 4 catches and contributed to the victory while playing for CSK in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 14 March 2019.

KKR while batting first, posted a total of 161/8 in their 20 Overs. Faf took catches of Sunil Narine, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik, and Robin Uthappa. Chennai chased the target of 162 runs in 19.4 Overs with 5 wickets in hand. 

RAVINDRA JADEJA

Ravindra Jadeja is currently believed as the best fielder not only in IPL but in the world. He took 4 catches for CSK in a match against Rajasthan Royals on 19 April 2021. Manan Vohra, Riyan Parag, Chris Morris, and Jayadev Unadkat found Jadeja in the field. 

CSK while batting first posted a total of 188/9 in their 20 Overs. Chasing the target, RR managed to score 143/9 in their 20 overs and lost the match by 45 runs. Jadeja also contributed with the ball in hand as he took 2 wickets for 28 runs in his quota of 4 Overs. 

RINKU SINGH

KKR's star player Rinku Singh became a part of this list in IPL 2022 when he took 4 catches in a match against Gujarat Titans on 23 April 2022. He took catches of GT skipper Hardik Pandya, Rahul Tewatia, Abhinav Manohar, and Lockie Ferguson while fielding. 

Gujarat Titans batted first after winning the toss and posted a total of 156/9 in their 20 Overs. Chasing the target, KKR only managed to score 148/8 in their 20 Overs. Despite Rinku's 4 catches on the field, KKR lost the match by 8 runs. 

RIYAN PARAG

Rajasthan Royals' Riyan Parag also became a player to take 4 catches in an IPL game in the 2022 season. RR faced RCB in a fixture on 26 April 2022 where Riyan took catches of Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli, Shahbaz Ahmed, Suyash Prabhudesai, and Harshal Patel. 

Bangalore opted to bowl first after winning the toss in this match. RR posted a total of 144/8 in their 20 Overs. Riyan Parag contributed with 4 catches as RCB got all-out for 115 runs in their 19.3 Overs.
